Italian investor: Iran, EU must start cooperation on clean energy

Zanjan, Feb 18, IRNA - Italian investor Salvadora Grasou said on Saturday Iran and Europe should start cooperation on clean energy.

 

He made the remarks in a meeting with Zanjan province officials.

 

Grasou said Europe has advanced techology for generation of electricity through natural ways without damaging environment; therefore Iran can start cooperation with EU in this field.

 

Pointing to Iran’s capabilities and capacities to generate clean energy, he said Iran can set up solar plants over its vast land to generate solar energy better than any other countries.

 

This investor proposed investing in solar energy projects in Iran and said old systems used for generation of energy from the Sun is not economical while new systems have replaced the old ones with better results and more efficiency.
